No RX is generaly tuning. No TX is generally indicative of poor antenna connections (open, or more likely grounded). Do you have a multimeter?
Went through Hemet on Sat, thanks for arranging the cold wind

Steph and I were teaching Host Orientation at the Idyllwild RS - our jeep would have been easy to spot. &^%! top blew off on the 91
