• Rugged Ridge electric wenches

I was wondering if anyone has used any of the Rugged ridge Brand wenches and if so on a scale of 1 to 10, (1 being worthless) how would you rate them. I am looking into getting a wench but funds are low and these are priced right. I greatly appreciate your comments

Thanks

Ron

Go with Warn and don't look back.
I've been running the same 8274 for 32 yrs(YES, I rebuilt it twice now).

I looked at those online. I can see a great price for a winch, about the same as a Harbor Frieght winch. I don't know what kind of product it is. Maybe if you get one, you could be the first to write an experienced review. My suggestion is a Superwinch. Less $$ than a Warn, and just as good (if not better in the snow).

I dont know for sure but I think it's the same maker as the SmittyBilt ones?

The XRC8 runs about $299 and those are ok from what i have heard.

LG the 8274 is great but it is very pricey, most expensive winch out there.
