I purchased a used set of Hanson bumbers, from a MJR member. The look good, and fit well. Solid stuff.

I hope it works well for you.

Thanks Ron. I can't wait. Everything I have heard is the Hanson is a QUALITY company with quality parts. I'll post some pics when it comes in.

My Hanson front and rear bumpers are pretty stout, I like them a lot.

Here is a shot of the front bumper:

            And the rear:

I also have this large cargo rack that mounts to it. I've never used it, and its for sale. Will consider trade for two jerry can mounts or an even $250 cash.

That's on my wish list for 2009. Either that or Dusy. One of the two, maybe both! (but I doubt it)

I picked up my stuff from 4 wheel parts today. Does anyone care how my install goes? I'm sure lots of people have already written up on this discussion. Well, i think i'm gonna start next saturday because I just ordered the Genb-RIght corner Guards.

I spoke with Jeramiah at Hanson (He is awesome to work with) and he said the Gen RIght works well with the Hanson set up.

I'd love to see your install photos. Hanson is always tinkering with the design, and I've seen several variations of the latch assembly. Curious if they've done any changes to the pivot or whatever else.

By the way, I found one other photo mine. The only thing I don't like about mine is that that HiLift can't be stowed with the base on it. Have to keep the base in a tool kit in the back of the Jeep. Other than that, it's pretty good I think.

The latch system is different now. I was told that the new one uses a car-door-like latch system. I bought the Auxiliary Pin Yoke but was told that this new latch system does not need it.

Photos going up on Thursday. The quality looks great...heavy and solid.

So the install went pretty simple. Probably the most difficult part was unwrapping everything--LOL---this stuff comes over wrapped for protection. It's great.

During the install i must have called Jeremaiah at least 5 times to ask him for assistance. He was great and answered all my questions without hesitation.

The most important thing when installing the tire carrier to the bumper is that all screws on the bumper MUST be loose in order for the tire carrier hinge to fit onto the tub. If not, you'll end up with about 2" of a gap. I thought i ordered the wrong system. But after getting instructions, it went smooth.

I was gonna take more photos of the install but it was pretty simple. Here are some durring and after pictures. I think it came out pretty sweet. Awesome system. I'm getting lots of compliments from people. I even got a couple guys at my work to buy a Jeep (and now they have the Jeep Fever).

If anyone has any questions, PM me.

Wow that looks really nice. He's completely changed the spindle and the latching mechanism. It seems like the jerry can holders mount higher also.
