Trail Report: Hard Rock - Hammerdown Trails

We had another great day on the new Hard Rock trail. Perfect weather and a great group of well equipped vehicles and drivers.

At the very start Curtis broke a drag link end and had to head back to camp. The rest of us ran the Hard Rock and did several optional sections, had lunch and were done with the trail by 2:30 - It just didn't seem right to head for home so we decided to exit on the Hammerdown trail.

Wow what a great day - a lot of great and intence 4 wheelin all day. Great trails!!!

Ron in the red Rubicon decided to leave a little early, and on his way out got a "little" lost - he called about 10 minutes later and said his vehicle is on it's side - so we headed to where he was and got him going again - the Rubicon suffered only minor damage and Ron was on his way.

Again thanks to all who came out - it was a great day - awesome trails. Hammerdown seemed to be one of the highlights for most - for some it was the first time through.

Thanks Mike my wife and I had a blast as always, great trail with some great people. Doing Hammerdown at the end of the run was a great way to end the day. Had a blast hope too wheel with you all soon.

I may have to either A) ask you guys to stop posting up photos of this till I get my sliders... or B) Get off my arse, take a few photos, and use this as a test run for my new sliders. As always, looks like a great run. I'm anxious to give this trail a go.
