  • Back in the Saddle..

Hey all. Haven't been on here in a long time. Finally got my heep back up and running. New clutch, battery, brake lines, etc.. and had her out the other day. The kids were ecstatic to get in daddy's jeep.

I still have a few things to fix.. when a 3 yr old fills your seatbelt buckle with pennies and forces the buckle together.. you're not getting that apart. So, a new belt is on order.

Youve got to love the back seat in these things. Two 50lb kids and no room to spare. They look like they are having a ball though.

Yah, My auction company has more business than we know what to do with. Kids are getting big (I may be a old-timer on this forum, but I'm still only 31). Still trying to figure out how to make a trip back out there.

Got the heep back from the mechanic again.. he fixed the skidplate issue (spacers were put on wrong) and a brakeline leak, now he needs to fix the shifter linkage.. the throw's too long and it won't shift into 2nd or 4th (rubber boot/body is in the way)
