New to MJR
Our Jeep, 97 TJ Wrangler 2.5L, auto, is actually my wife, Lisa's. I do all the manitenance and work on it. So The Jeep is Lisa's. Right now it is not on the road since the auto trans took a crap. We just today got back from Medford,OR, where we got everything to change it to a 5spd. We are hoping we got all the parts. The guy we bought everything from seems knowledgeable being how he just changed his son's 97 TJ to a Hemi/ Rubicon t-case with auto. He said the only part we may need is the Sun gear in the t-case as the auto and 5spd are different. We hope to be on trails as soon as I can get everything back in. I know mods as my last Jeep was a 54 pick-up with a 14" shortened wheelbase, 327 chev/ muncie 4spd short-shafted to stock t-case, 5:38 gears, Timken rear, spicer44 front, GM p/s, GM p/b, tilt-wheel, 35's on 15X10 wheels, a real crawler.
