This all-day run is part of the 16th Annual IDTT. We will depart from Peggy Sue's Diner, travel for about 10 miles on pavement to Rainbow Basin, one of the most beautiful and mysterious locations in the Mojave Desert. After exploring Rainbow Basin, we will proceed to Opal Mountain, where we can take our lunch break. Those who are daring can drive to the top of Opal Mountain where they can get a panoramic view of the high desert. After lunch, we will visit Inscription Canyon to view the petroglyphs and return to camp via Copper City Road. The total round trip will be about 60 miles.
