    SNIP

    Screw um:

    Hello Chris;
    The "Rubicon Roundup" was organized as a Jeep Rubicon only event. We do apologize for any inconvenience and if there is enough interest in this type event we may put together a similar event that will be open to anyone.

    Thank You for your interest and again we apologize;

    Nothing personal....but It ridiculous that its labeled "Rubicon Only". It makes it sound like Rubicon owners are elitist snobs. Its almost as ridiculous as saying were having a CJ only run, or a Blue TJ run. For some reason this offends me. :Rolleyes:

      I agree. And this gives me a good reason to change the forum rules. Nothing personal Nate, but we are all into jeeping and these Rubicon or model specific runs are bullshit.

            I think this Rubicon-only thing has been gone over before.

            Sounds like it may be a fun trip, but I think just hanging out with people who drive a certain model or even make seems a bit stand-off'ish. I guess that's just the egalitarian in me...

                Maybe sometime I can run some rubicon stickers across my hood and try to attend an event.

                  Sorry guys, I didn't mean to offend anyone (I agree, that any Jeep model should be allowed). Trust me, I'd much rather be able to make it out there for the MJR "Rubicon TRAIL" gathering instead of meeting with an elite group of the "best" (in their eyes) Jeep model out there. I have met some of these Rubicon owners before and needless to say, I went off and found a different group. The main reason I'm going is to check out this "Mision Impossible" trail, that is if I can justify paying 70 bucks to go wheeling somewhere that charges 15. I can't see paying $55 more just to "see" the trail and not getting to wheel the whole thing. Ha, I think I just saw the light.....I don't think I'm going now.

                  Mods, you can delete this post now if you want.

                        Sorry I'm a bit late on this one, LOL, obviously we like to help anyone or any event out here ... but I really don't know what's going thru the minds of the organizers of events like these. I enjoy the fact that you posted it here actually, it's a good reminder of what this site IS NOT!

                          Lets take Sully idea a bit further and get Rubicon hood stickers mounted on magnets.

                          Seeing as how my TJ has the rubi 44 front and rear no one would know the difference except for maybe the plastic blue air lines coming out of them

                          Oh btw, 98 Chili Pepper Red TJ Round Up will be held this Saturday....

                          Nate, this is not a slam at you in any way, Im just having fun with this.

                              Maybe when I can make it out there, we can just swap my hood with someone's for the event and see if it works
