  • March 26/27 Cougar Buttes?

Hoping to have my WJ knuckle/Hi-steer conversion done by then and want to go out and play

Looking to just mess around so was thinking Cougar Buttes. A trail ride would be cool nothing real hard core as I want to test all the new mods to Felix . Not to mention I am still a noob at the actually driving part

Undecide on wether I would do one or two days. Its only a hour drive for me so no need to camp out.

Are there trails there? Only been there for the rockcrawls.

No trails at Cougar Buttes that I know of . Just brought up the idea of a trail run if more people want to do that instead of just playing in rocks

I know of some trails out in the Ord Mountain area but you barely need 4wd for them.

There is always the option of the Apple Valley/Stoddard Valley area.

That works for me, just looking for some place close by that does not require a camp out.

Since you suggested it, does that mean that you and Rick will join us in YOUR backyard?

I would consider going if it were at Stoddard Valley!

Count me in. I'm picking up my RockIt Man rocker panels and front bumper next Thursday, so they *should* be installed by then. Unless that damn lazy bone keeps acting up.....

Maybe we should change the thread title to Sarah's and Rick's Backyard Match 26/27

Stoddard Valley is a little farther than I wanted to drive for this trip but if my MJR T-Shirts will be there then so will I.

Maybe even D4x4Fish can join in on this one?

*Actually, we would only be on the run for Sunday. I have daycare kids on Saturday and Tom sleeps during the day.
