  • Well summer is almost over again- we need a end of season BBQ!!!

Well, I am open to sugjestions for a nice BBQ-
Like I said - we gots the BBQ pits on the lake but you have to have a forest adventure pass to park in the parking lot.

We need a set date and time where everyone can attend.

I'd be there, but I am going to be a bit far unless you want to head south/east a couple hundred miles.

Goodtimes- we will have a picture of you and your jeep on the Con sitting there right by the BBQ- we will have you there in spirit!

We will make it out your way as soon as you find some good spots to wheel.

You know I'm in, I'll be in New Mexico the week of Labor Day. Why not do Miller and BBQ at the mid section or do another overnighter with a night run/BBQ???

Good Idea ! We can Stay in hungry Valley OHV park . Not expensive and there are plenty of spots and we can do miller in reverse at night ! Just a thought ?

The forest service has disallowed campfires and BBQ's on the mountain top. See the closure notice below.

He's not talking about Big Bear. He's talking about Rowher Flats. The hill is a killer.

Well, you know how "kabob Hill" got it's name don't you? That would be cool.

**short version of the story behind "kabob hill":

there were 2 trail crews working on the trail, one coming down from the top, and one coming up from the bottom. They met at the present day "kabob hill", and cooked up some 'kabob's on the grill for lunch in celebration.
