Not sure if anyone was aware but I just found this and I believe it is still MJR's adopt-a-trail.
National Public Lands Day Sites:
Butler Peak, San Bernadino National Forest
Come and pitch in! Help replant the 2007 Butler Peak burn area.
Meet at the Big Bear Discovery Center at 9am to caravan to the site. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a smiling face and some working hands ! All tools and lunch will be provided. No reservations necessary; just show up! Groups larger than 10, please RSVP with Danielle Grondin.
