        forward drop down a drop off or down an incline. if your jeep decides to flop end over end the stinger stops it from going over.
        1st batch TJ bought August of 96. Locked and Loaded!

          I think a lot of people believe that if the Jeep got up on the stinger on a downhill, then it would go sideways and turn your end-over-end roll into a barrel roll...

              if your going over front end over end its gonna happen. the point of the stinger is so that you dont flop like a flipped pancake upside down. it will either stop your flip and put you back down or drop you to either side. look at this pic

              w/o that stinger that boy would flip right onto his passenger corner windshield and he would of flopped HARD.

                    Chris, got another welding job for you if your interested. its the new stinger that i bought. your welds were a PAIN IN THE ARSE to get off. man they were good!
