  • What to do in Rodchester?

Looks like in a couple weeks I will be flying to Rochester Indiana for work. I will probably be there Sunday thru Friday.

Anyone know of anything to do there?

Umm... I'm sure there is a good watering hole in town. You might be able to pull off on one of the roads and watch the corn grow.... honestly, I can't tell you.

Sorry. Maybe Sarah can give you some insight to the ins and outs of Indiana.

I think you spelled it wrong. It's not showing up on any of the map sites.

I like Traveler's idea but I need to find a bar with a view of the corn so I can drink while watching it grow

Chesterton is only about 75 miles from there. If you haven't seen a great lake before, here's your chance. There are sand dunes, but you can't drive on them. TJRubicon is in Tipton, maybe he can show you some Indiana offroading at it's best.

you could always bring a level, and try to find someplace that is not flat.

Now I am getting depressed as the best option so far is to go see a lake.

Not all of Indiana is flat, the southern part of IN is very hilly it's the other 95% that is flat

If ya can't find any corn to watch (not sure how you couldn't), there's always the beans. Bring a computer and just spend your free time on it, that's about all there is to do here.

You could always take a dictionary/atlas and learn how to spell Rochester....

If no corn to watch, You could always find a spot by the hwy and do a survey of how many stock jeeps and how many modded jeeps there are driving down the hwy..
