Yah, this is the first one I actually felt here at the office... Makes me wonder about this building - it sure creaks and cracks a lot.

                  Way cool

I just love Mother Nature's free rides. As long as no one gets hurt. I missed the one on Sunday. Down here at the Port of Long Beach, the entire area is on fill dirt/rocks. So, when the Earth starts shaking, we roll a lot.

I felt one of the aftershocks. At least the roof didn't fall off, although I was worried about my computer monitor for a second

I always look out the east windows of the office whenever anything like this. Our fuel farm at LAX is about 500' east of me

that was a nice one for me. not enough to knock anything down, but enough to make you wonder if it is just the onset of a real one.

HERE is a map, and quake info.

click on the quake you are interested in to get the map.
then you can click on various areas of the map for detailed info for the area you click.
these guys are FAST about getting info on the net.

Erik, don't you go and flatten Lakewood before I get a chance to move there!

lol. i think it will be ok. it is just far enough from the coast that it is bound to be future ocean front property one of these days.
most of the houses in this area are on raised foundations so you get to really feel it move.
