it has been quite a while since i donated blood. i'll have to do it again sometime.
my wife donates regularly though. the red cross is always calling her to come i, and offering tee shirts, and such. she also has O-
they move her to the front of the line when she gets there.

I can't give blood cuz I'm a wuss and I pass out. Something about a fat nurse with a large needle jamming it around in my arm... Makes me light headed just thinking about it.

Does it say if asthmatics can donate? I keep getting conflicting answers from people.

I would have donated (if I can), but kinda hard when you run a daycare.

That cert is about 4 years old or so - I generally go about 3-4x a year. When I was at Fluor I did it every 60 days - Red Cross came to us.

Last time IIRC was about 2 months ago. I'm O-, so the vampires like me

I use to donate all the time until I cam back from Kuwait and found out I was exposed to TB I wish I could still donate but I can never get a straight answer on wether I can (the Red Cross in South Carolina would not accept my blood).

TB wasnt on the list of questions...check with the local Red Cross.

I have an "Eight gallon donor" certificate at home - will that do?

Awesome! How many years did it take to do that? When was the last time you donated?

BTW...I just got back. I have little teeny veins, and managed to pump out a pint in 10 minutes
