Glad they ID'd his truck before our brave public servants shot up any more Nissan Titans being driven by innocent civilians.

Here's a copy of dude's Manifesto. If you believe it, cops are the only people he wants to kill. Of course, desperate men do desperate things. He's already tried to steal someone's boat from a marina.

Funny, he argues that deadly force is the only way to reform a corrupt system (mainly the LAPD). He then boasts about how he intends to kill cops with the weapons he has procured legally, then declares this as proof that we need an assault weapons ban. I think Barry O. put him up to it. Draw your own conclusions.

The trigger happy LAPD was hot topic at the 2nd Amendment rally in Sacramento yesterday. We are going to loose more gun rights folks, count on it... And it isn't over by a long shot.

If anything, this proves the right of the responsible, law-abiding citizen to defend himself against even a LEO or Naval (etc...) officer that flips his lid - or even LEO's that can't tell a Honda from a Toyota from a Nissan - or blue from black, or grey...

You can talk all day about gun rights, but history shows that the only gun rights that are worth a damn are possessed by those who are willing and able to back them up with deadly force. Sooner or later, someone will make a power play, and one of their first actions will be to confiscate as many guns as they can. Could happen here very easily. Poor citizens in New Orleans lost their gun rights when Katrina hit. Police went door-to-door confiscating firearms and leaving people defenseless to looters or whomever else may come around. They even brutalized at least one old lady in the process. Probably lucky they didn't shoot her. The fact that that police chief is not still hanging from the highest pole in town is a shame and affront to this country and what it was founded on.

Are we willing to live in a country where the wealthy live in walled fortresses and the rest of us don't know whether to be more afraid of the police or of armed gangs? Honest people are marks for both. Look south, and you will get a glimpse of our future--if we're lucky. It would likely get a lot worse than that.

I agree. You know, I actually gave those LEOs the benefit of the doubt that they were at least shooting at trucks that matched the Dorner's. So far they've shot up as many innocent people as Dorner has, but fortunately with less lethal effect. All you little asian women be careful out there now, the cops aren't messing around.
