I definately don't need a constitution lesson. I also feel the constitution was written during a time when the world and our country were a lot different. There was a time when it was necessary to carry a firearm. Today I don't believe there is a need. 2nd amendment was not written for todays world. Everything to me is not a conspiracy. The government is not out to get you. The swine flu was not casued by the government. 9/11 really happened. The goverment did not do it to start a war.

I agree with you about 9/11.
Swine flu was only an example, I agree that it was not made by the government.
It could be any "state of emergency".
I disagree with your view on the Constitution, More later...

Just a note here:
Citing the Worldnet Daily News as an unbiased source of legitimate data is an exercise in self delusion.
If you are going to cite references to bolster your argument, you should try to find as clean and unbiased FACTUAL reporting as you can. Worldnet Daily News is about as biased as it gets and often uses conjecture and speculation and reports it as fact. That raises HUGE red flags on the validity of any argument, in my book....'96 XJ, HP D30 front, XJ D44 rear, Lockright/E-Locker, 4.56's, Cobra CB, 33" Pro Comp xTreme MT's, SYE, Smittybilt XRC10 winch with Synth Rope, mutt lift.

WND may be biased (refreshingly considering the lack of conservative media exposure available) and Bob Unruh the author of the above cited article is certainly no stranger to journalistic criticism. However I don't automatically discount any news source. Should we not have different points of view to represent the different views that the people of this nation have? A handful of different views were discussed in this article including Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and the article ended with reassurance of privacy from Census spokesman Stephen Buckner. I don't discredit what they have said, I just want more information about what my government, that is supposed to protect my rights, not usurp my rights, is doing.
For my clarity and the record what are you challenging in this article as non factual?
I use commonsense, values and principles to decipher news, actively seeking the truth. I could honestly go on for days about mainstream media bias, and their lack of journalistic integrity. If one is a subscriber to the MSM then my opinions will most likely be dismissed and ignored. This entire article could be dismissed if one had not attempted to use objectivity and only has a knee jerk reaction.
I understand that speculation is a red flag for you, However I believe speculation is sometimes necessary to prepare for one's future.
I do not believe this information is inaccurate as they are opinions. I believe that it would be more accurate to just say we have a difference of opinion. I am still open to debate the relevant topic.
What news sources do you follow, I would be interested to check them out.

[COLOR="Sienna"]This is another in a LONG line of problems in the U.S. Where does one get FACTS. When even websites such as factcheck.com have been exposed as being biased?
Seriously... Fox news? Biased as hell. MSNBC? Biased just as much as Fox. Agenda's are behind all the media I find these days.
As Lewis Black once said, "There have got to be some fact-facts." Either agenda generates their own set of facts based on reporting or information that supports their own goals or ideals...

The census has long recorded information far more sensitive than the geographic coordinates of a street address (which could just as easily be obtained through Google Earth).
For example, census workers for decades record add-on housing like garages and makeshift back houses which have been converted into living quarters without the knowledge or approval of the relevant local municipal agencies (read, "inspectors and tax assessors").
The census is expressly forbidden by law from sharing their database with any other agency. This is considered one of the most important aspects of getting good data, because of course if homeowners knew the data would be turned over to the tax assessor they may not be entirely forthcoming about that new rental residence they put in the garage.
The census isn't exactly a new thing, and their gather of sensitive information is as old as the census itself.
How many times in all the decades we've had the census has their database been shared in violation of the law?
And what new risk is there with this GPS data that we don't already face with Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Terra Server, etc. today without the need to break laws?

While it is true that it is very difficult to find unbiased news and reporting, it is NOT that hard to determine credibility, and the WDN has about as much credibility as the National Enquirer.
Fox, MSNBC, and CNN all have their various slants, but they do have a much higher degree of credibility. When I start to smell bias, I look to all 3 of those sources, and I find that 99% of the time I am able to get a sniff of what's reallyt going on.
the WDN presents opinion and conjecture as fact. They slant their reporting in such a way as to draw a conclusion from unrelated sources to declare as fact something even more unrelated. This is EXACTLY the way Michael Moore makes his "documentaries", and it is just as offensive when it comes from the right as it is when it comes from the left.
I'm not saying that you do not have a good argument, but I question it's validity when you only use the WDN as the cited references to your arguments. A good argument does not need conjecture to make it's point.'96 XJ, HP D30 front, XJ D44 rear, Lockright/E-Locker, 4.56's, Cobra CB, 33" Pro Comp xTreme MT's, SYE, Smittybilt XRC10 winch with Synth Rope, mutt lift.

What has that proven, beyond the fact that the actual action is happening? WHY it is happening is pure speculation, and some of that speculation has trended very wildly to the crazy side of paranoia.
