Paranoia, Conspiracy Theories, alien probings... not really my area of expertise. Is this information availble in triplicate through other channels? Yup. I think it's just a HUGE waste of money so that the Obama administration can say, "Hey, we employed thousands of people. Look at what we did!!" I expect it to be much like the tobacco industry's little gimmick... spend $1 billion employing these people to do this for a month or six months... then spend $100 billion to tell everyone what a great thing the administration is doing.

I still don't like the gov't collecting data on me, at any time, for any reason. Maybe I am paranoid, after all, my toothbrush is wired with a microphone and GPS tracker...I'm sure of it.

I wouldn't call it paranoid, I'd call it prepared and informed, like the last 3 posts have mentioned. If your principles include freedom, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights generally speaking, then this should violate your principles. (whether you choose to act upon that or not)

Will you send them your gun if they ask for that as well? When do you start to care? After your rights are gone?

I don't own a gun. GPS of my door does not infringe on my rights. Does the constitution say anything about GPS??? As stated, you can get that info from google earth.

The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution states:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
Again I ask, When do you start to care? After your rights are gone?
Respectfully, Max7

Is this only because I don't live out in the middle of the desert? Don't they keep track of property boundaries, structures, etc. out there too?

Max, while I agree with you on your point of labeling paranoia (ask Sarah, we've gone back and forth a few times about this, but she educated me a bit...) this GPS mapping isn't the fight I care enough about. This hasn't crossed *my* line to fight yet, but I applaud your passion for standing up for what is ours and what you believe in!
Matterdaddy, First, thank you for your respect and for taking the time to explain your point of view. I truly admire your capacity to elaborate on your perspective and respectfully acknowledge an opposing or different view.
However the points that I am making are only moot (pre edit) if we are unwilling to qualify them, you seem to qualify them yet are not yet concerned because it has not effected you or your family, yet.

I continue to equate the phenomenon of disbelief or apathy for ever threatening policies and legislation in some Americans to slowly raising the temperature of the water that the frog is in. The frog will inevitably be dead (without realizing he was cooked), and most certainly his rights.

A known strategy of the liberal left and the globalists is to slowly erode our rights, our new administration has an imminent, history making pace.

Forget the toothbrush, I have an implant in my neck that the aliens put there when they abducted me. I'm safe from any further abductions though, even with the implant. I just wear my T.S.H all the time! http://www.stopabductions.com/

That and the fact that I no longer live in a trailer park!
