The final day of CPAC 2009 was packed with an array of essential big named power speakers.
Hon. Rick Santorum who has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and is now the Senior Fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center opened the day with a discussion about ending the bifurcation within the conservative movement. I addition he, stated that "hoping your opponent screws up, is not a strategy." We need to have solid goals. That we need not mess with the principals the core of Conservatism, that,"truth does not change". He continued on to say that we are being governed, right now, by unqualified leaders.
Gov. Tim Pawlenty (MN) was extremely well spoken and genuine. He spoke of the rise in flight of principals. He declared God gave us unalienable rights, our rights do not come from government.
In the event "How Many Crimes Did you Commit Today?" it was explained how there is no way any of us could know if we have broken any of the 27,000 pages or 4,450 federal criminal offenses.
There should be no prosecution for someone who had no true criminal intent. The stories were incredible.
