i was doing a little "detailing" on the jeep this weekend, and was pleasantly surprised at how well my Meguiar's scratch-X scratch removing compound works.
I had several noticeable scratches across the driver's side door and rear quarter, and they are all gone after coating the entire side of the jeep with this stuff.
after that, i cleaned all my plastic windows with vinyl scratch remover from the local plastic supply store, and voila! windows look new again (still a few big scratches though, because i only got the "fine scratch remover").
all in all a great day erasing my past from the paint job.
