Wet em down and light em up!
They got me...not too sure when. I only drive my Jeep on the weekends, and last weekend I noticed my gas was way low. Hmmm...musta forgotten to fill it up. Went to the station, put in 1/2 tank, and had a heck of a time getting my locking gas cap back on.
Due to new emissions testing, I have to have that evap cannister test done, and my vent hose has been leaking. I purchased a new hose, and a new filler hose (if one's bad...the others gonna be too...soon). When removing everything, I noticed my gas cap/metal filler thingy is bent. It looks like someone took something, and pulled the cap off, and bent the metal filler thingy. THAT was why I had a hard time putting my cap back on last week.
Anyhow...the new filler neck was $60. New hoses $20. Hopefully I can pass smog now, and spend time hunting down them thieves!!!
