    What was the CJ-1 called??

    It was called the M38/M38A1, if I recall correctly.

    But I might be wrong.......

      CherokeeFever, The M38/M38A1 were military counterparts for other Jeeps. They are listed in the answers sections.

      The CJ-1 was a Civilian Jeep, it had a "nickname".

          AGRIJEEP. how frigin funny is that... J4M has gotten so busy that my post from January is still on the first page of the CJ forum. go figure.

          pretty cool though, the thing had 5.38 gears.
