Lookin for a snorkel

Well acording to my "History of the Jeep" poster on the wall behind me, the cj-7 shares a lot of sheet metal with the yj.... I would suggest finding a yj and taking some mesurements, then if things come out off im sure you could modify a little to get it to fit...... or just build it yourself.

I am lookin for a snorkel for my 82 cj-7, it seems that noone makes one. I was wondering about a snorkel for a yj but i dont know how close the bodies to know if it would fit. Everthing from the inside i will have to fabricate due to the fact that i built a fuel injection system for the 258 that is in their. does anyone know of a company that make a snorkel kit for it if the the one of the yj would work. anything would be a help
