      No joke Tam.

Hmmmm...my Jeep is 5 months old:

      31" BFG ATs
      Warn Oil Pan Skid
      4XDoctor Rocker Guards
      Viair (Portable)
      Bestop Bikini Combo
Bestop Soft Doors (you will get them too when you bend one of your expensive metal ones)
Quick Mirror II (necessary if you do the soft door thing)

On the drawing board over the next few months:

      Diff Skids
Steering Box Skid (after watching Chris rest his Jeep on his...I want what he has)
Tie Rod Skid (if they get around to making it for 03)
Tire Carrier with Gerry Can capabilities
      Small lift (for now)

In just over a year.....not much.

        Custom LCA skids
        steering box skid
        Custom rear bumper
Custom cargo rack (where back seat used to be)
        CB & VHF radios
        Sun Performance rocker guards
cheap front diff skid (but it's better than nothing)
"trail clearanced" belly pan ( )

Lots of "stuff" on the list for this year ( :crossing fingers: )
olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!

Price is soon forgotton, quality is not.

After 400 miles the stock Goodyear's were swapped out with 31" MT/Rs.

Could have bought a Rubicon but that would have been about $5,000 more.

            ok, i'll bite.

            hmm...

the first thing i did was have my brother install a stereo system, then i got 31's.

after moving to cali, she grew up!
            1" springs, 1" spacers
            100w daylighters
            safari top
            JC Fab front bumper
            33's
            new gears on the way
            rear bumper on the way
and i think that's all folks!

So with the heavy duty axle upgrade (locked) is it safe to run 35's or would I still want to get a dana 44 or ford axle?

did i hear someone say essay?

"To date upgrades include... A Dynatrac Pro 44 rear axle w/ARB air locker driven by a Tom Woods drive shaft and JB conversions short shaft kit. Front 30 ARB air locked. Gearing is 4.56. Suspension is mostly Rubicon Express 4.5" superflex with a Currie steering, front track bar, antirock and OME long travel shocks. This leaves plenty of room for 285/75r16 MTRs (33x11.5) on 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic IIs, spare tire mounted on a Bestop carrier. Tire and ARB air pressure are handled by a Viair 400 compressor with kilby tank. Rocker and gas tank skid protection come from 4xDoctor. The oil pan is protected by teraflex. Diff skids from JCfab and Warn. The 4.0L six is still stock with a Banks header and exhaust system."

there's also a Currie belly skid, BL and MML sitting next to my couch.

an appointment is pending for a full cage...

did I hear someone say 35s?:yay:

Thanks Al for the blatant ego stroking thread.

Oh yeah... I also have a CB.

many will say a super 35 is fine for 35s. not many have proof otherwise.

Anything is breakable. I run 35's and am not worried. I also don't bounch my jeep when crawling. I personally do not know or have I heard a reliable story of someone breaking one.

I have a long way to go, by the looks of your list, just to be a baby version of your Jeep.

Although I am adding doodads too...

122 piece Craftsman Mechanic's Set (got it on Sale)
18 volt Craftsman Cordless Drill (got it on Sale)
My Recovery Bag (tow strap, first aid kit, entrenching tool, sil nylon tarp, air down thingies)
Assorted stuff sacks for my Bestops stuff

I put shelves in my closet to hold my Jeep stuff last weekend...I can even get my soft top frame in there now... But the backseat will have to go in the coat closet....I hope.

Anyway...I can keep the lists you guys have...check out what breaks easy and what don't...useful info for those of us who are starting with baby Jeeps.
