    throw back

Pulled off the front bumper and winch plate to mount the steering cooler and decided to make a new bumper instead. Kind of a throw back to the bumpers I had in 92' on my 73' CJ5. Big 4" tube bumpers. woo hoo. I really like the effect of the parallel tubing. I haven't weighed the new bumper yet but I know it weighs less than the old one with the winch plate. probably around a 50 lb difference. Got some stuff to sell. Bullet Proof MFG front and rear bumpers are up for grabs. JKS disco's as well.

mocked up the idea I had my Evolution rRaptor made butter of the 3/4" steel.

I had to make it work with my current tow bar

I haven't decided on the grill hoop yet and gotta fab up the fairlead bracket, steering box skid and a stinger for the front.

Drivers side tie rod is gonna get flipped next.

The springs work in the garage we'll see how they handle in a couple of weeks when its back on the road / trail.
    and
I don't even want to think about Fred's rig right now. That thing takes it to a hole new level.

haha! I've built a few pieces of furniture that turned out much better after a few beers than they do when I'm drinking water
