    Mine did this, just needed the connections cleaned. They get some corosion over time.

    My 89 yj was simular untill I changed the sending unit. You could try that. I think the Ideal thing would to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge, they are supposed to be more accurate.

    Ok so i am Brand new at this jeep thing
    i wish i would have bought this thing years ago
    anyways

    while i crank it and drive it
    oil gauge is always at 80 .... when i slow down sometimes it goes down to 40 or after about 30 mins of driving i am sitting at 60 if im at idle

    is this normal or should i take it to the shop
    and what could the cause be ?
