Most of us will be at TDS. Hope to see you there. Imagestation (where the pics are hosted) is being flaky.

well, i have it all in and driving now. it seems to have no problems at all thus far. i cant wait to put this thing in the ROCKS! it is extremely low geared, which will take some getting used to, but i think i'm going to like it.
the extra few inches that the atlas gains for the rear drive shaft is awesome! i dont forsee any driveline binding, or vibrations, even with the nth degree tummy tucker.
i will update again after i put it on the trail.

they recommended it just for that reason... there are some clearancing issues to fit the atlas. without actually field testing this thing, i will speak very highly of it.. this thing is a BRUTE!
OK, that sounds better. Last I heard, they wanted close to $500 for the part to fit my '03, and I was thinking if I still had to finish the job after paying that much, then I would just do it myself. I still think I will just do it myself. Be a good project one of these long weekends......

for an automatic, i could see this as a concern.. i have a clutch i can depress to free it up. i am interested in seeing /feeling the torque of this monster though

But what is the story with you having to add the gussets? For the price those guys charge, you would think they would finish the job. Or was this one of those "hey, dont put the gussets in because I am putting in a t-case that the skid isn't designed for" kind of deal?

They say that they can get my 241 completely flat with a 1" body lift....but if I'm gonna have to do 1/2 the work anyway, I'll just do the whole darn thing and save myself the $400. I'll just be sure to not park close enough for people to compare the welds....'cause mine usually aren't quite as perty as the ones Chris put down.
