    Cut my soft top years ago. Bought some extra vinyl, rubber cemented it to the inside of the top and then stitched across the tear, and then around the whole patch. Worked great, rubber cement kept it from leaking.

    go by a boat top repair shop. i dont think it will cost much, and you will get a professional quality repair

    thanks guys, but I'm actually thinking more along the lines of a repair that doesn't include duct tape.

    any more ideas?

    a guy i used to work with patched his convertible with like 4-5 rolls of gaffer's tape. it actually held for almost a year through rain, dropping the top, etc.

    soft top repair...

    I started what may become a hole in the upper rear driver side of my soft top this weekend. anybody got any fixes for this???
