  • Whoops Tie rod & Drag Link.

The first time I was out with Aston in my Jeep he told me to replace the crappy stock Tie Rod. He was right....

I should just get the full conversation steering ....

Damage from memorial weekend around Three feathers.

Bigger tie-rod = Bend drag link. Heed the above advise. Oh, and is that one of those alumiflex things? If so, you might want to return it before its too late.

Erik, do you have a picture of my "rainbow?"

Yeah its one of the alumiflex tie rods....issues with them?

The drag link bent when I had the stock tie rod in place Monday, I had the alumiflex in the Jeep as a spare.

Its nice the first couple time. It'll bend out of the way and save your draglink, then pop back into place. After a while it will either bend and stay there or bend when you turn or climb an obstacle. Nailer has a pic of mine that looks like a rainbow. Its probably bent 6-8 inches it seems, while I tried to climb a water fall.

Nope...Just follow Astons line until he rolls it over, Then offer him a banana.
(Make a note of Astons personalized plate as you follow him)

I bent the Tie rod all on my own.
