I think I just found what I am doing for my bday....
That is, if work doesn't suddenly get slammed...This stupid writers strike is killing everyone...

            anyway.

So, I think I will plan that weekend until I see different.

                          Staging Location Moved!

The new staging location will be at the Desert Discovery Center (DDC) located at 831 Barstow Road, Barstow, CA 92311. Registration, drivers meeting, lunch, and the raffle will take place at DDC. This is less than 10 minutes from the Calico Mountains and Mule Canyon entrance.

We have a GREAT MJR showing! Please be sure that if you signed up as part of MJR, you intend to spend the morning cleaning up with the group. If you don't, please sign up independent. We will most likely be assigned to a special project of some type, like last year, and a semi-accurate head count from registration will decide how big of a project we can take on. Looking forward to it!

If anyone wants tees or other MJR garb, please send me a PM and I'll get a pile going.

Is the clean up time going to be longer then last year?
Will they have the big trash bins close to the trails or will we need to be able to haul it back to the DDC?

How many folks are towing that can use their tow rigs to haul big trash items? There were a bunch last time, but more would be better. I had enough stuff in the back of mine to furnish a one bedroom apt.

(took a minute or two to find this pic)
